What are coins?
coin is the name used for the coins required for playing Bingo, Spinbingo. Scratchbingo, PartyDice and Poker.

What are coin games?
devplatform has more than a few coin games in its portfolio; Bingo, SpinBingo, ScratchBingo, PartyDice and Poker.
To play one of these games it is necessary for you to have (buy) coin. You can do this by upgrading via Creditcard or by phone.

What coin games does devplatform have?
devplatform has done research into what the players like to enjoy playing at devplatform. It has become apparent that a lot of people want more action in the games. devplatform has developed PartyDice, Poker and a suite of Bingogames. coins are obtained by upgrading or sometimes by devplatform donations.

Why are coins not paid out?
coins are not paid out because it is not real money. It does not have the same value as money. When you upgrade you will receive more coin than what you actually paid for the coin. The Dutch regulations do not allow coins to be paid out at the moment, because the Gambling Act prohibits this. As soon as this is legally possible, we will examine if we will start working with real money.

What if my connection fails?
If you are playing Bingo, Spinbingo, Scratchbingo, PartyDice or Poker and your connection fails, you will loose your deposit. If there is only one player left in the game, he will receive the entire pot.
This is different with Bingo. IF you play in an automatic mark room and the connection fails, the computer will mark the numbers. You can win Bingo without being present in the room. The money will be deposited in your coin account.

Play guide Tips
We find it important that everyone enjoys playing at devplatform. We therefore recommend to only play coin games now and again. Do not upgrade too often, it is supposed to be a game. Bingo is not accessible for people under 18 years.

Please note that you are held accountable for your actions at devplatform. Remember: keep it fun and do not play too much.

I have lost my password (and didn't receive an e-mail)

Go to www.gamepoint.com and you will see the caption Lost password? below the log in fields. You can click on this link and you will be able to enter your username. An e-mail shall be sent to your e-mail address. It may take some time before the e-mail actually arrives in your Inbox. Be sure to also check your Junk E-mail folder. If you have set your security settings to ‘High’, then there’s a possibility that our e-mails have been blocked.
Do you have a Hotmail or a Windows Live Mail e-mail account and you’re not receiving any e-mails containing your password? It’s possible that our e-mails are automatically blocked by Hotmail or Windows Live Mail. To resolve this issue, please do the following:
1. Go to Hotmail or Windows Live Mail.
2. Click on Options in the top right corner, then click on More Options.
3. Below the heading Preventing Junk E-mail click on Safe and blocked senders.
4. Click on Safe senders and fill in gamepoint.com. Then click on Add to list.
5. Go back to the previous page and click on Blocked senders. Make sure that gamepoint.com is not included in this list. If this is the case, select the link and click on Remove from list.

How long does it take before I receive my purchase?

Purchases are normally instant, however some payment methods are known to take a bit longer. If you haven’t received your purchase within 24 hours chances are something went wrong. Please do contact us in that case.

What chat options do I have?

Private messages:
You can send players a private message by using the /msg name player option. For example type:
/msg John wants to play with you. John will see want to play with you in pink with your name in front of it.


Me messages: You can also leave a personal message with the /me option. For example type: Player name says hello to everyone


Blocking players:You can also block players. This is done with the /block name player option. For example type: /block John. You will no longer receive messages from John.


Block Guests: You can also block guests. This is done by clicking on the message status under your chat. Select 'No messages from Guests'. If you click on the G again you will start receiving messages from Guests again.


Who am I blocking:?
Do you want to know whom you are blocking? You can type /blocklist. If you no longer want to block players you can remove them from the block list with the /un-block name player option. For example type: /un-block John. You will now start receiving messages from John again.

What keyboard shortcuts can I use inside the game?

ALT+1 View the normal chat
ALT+2 View the game chat (when it is available)
ALT+3 View the VIP chat
ALT+4 to ALT+9 View all private chats (only in Widescreen)
CTRL+TAB Go to the next chat screen
CTRL+SHIFT+TAB Go to the previous chat screen
CTRL+M Enlarge the chat
CTRL+L Leave the game (only during the game)

CTRL+E Smilies on/off

When do I receive a coin gift?

There are a variety of gifts handed out freely by GamePoint. The most well-known gift is the 3 hourly gift. This gift will be handed out on a 3 hourly basis to every household that logs in into one of our games. Other gifts include a welcome gift for new players, gifts send by your friends and gifts that can be obtained by participating in events and on our Facebook pages. Which names are allowed and which are not?

When creating names some words are blocked.  GamePoint remains entitled to remove user names at any moment.

Which user names are not permitted or are forbidden?

- User names that use terms of abuse
- User names that have a sexual significance
- User names of well-known people
- User names of people of companies that are trademarked.
- User names that are offensive.
- User names that were created in bad faith (for example user names that are similar to admin names).

What are the best ways to prevent connection issues?

The usage of a wired connection tends to solve most of the issues we’ve encountered. We understand this issue could be hard to solve, and therefore we have written a handful of suggestions to improve internet connections. See here for more information.

The firewall is blocking the chat/login

When you have problems with logging in and/or chatting it may be the case that something is not set correctly in your Firewall. It may (also) be necessary to open a few ports. devplatform uses the following ports: 6650 (chat) 3000 to 9000 (rooms). please allow data from network 194.126.241.0/25. To let the game function properly it is necessary to allow all of these gates outward and inward bound, for both TCP and UDP. Something very simple and generally very useful is shutting down your firewall before you log in and turning the firewall back on once you are in the room!

How to cancel my current VIP/SVIP membership?

You cannot cancel your paid VIP or SuperVIP membership after you have used it for some time. How long this is depends on your countries regulations. On average devplatform memberships can be refunded within one week of the purchase date (with the administration cost of $ 4,-). After one week the membership cannot be refunded.

Your membership will automatically expire when the duration of the membership expires. We will not renew your membership without a payment being iniciated by you. 

How can I cancel my devplatform account?

You can cancel your account by following these steps:

1. Go to 'My Menu'
2. Choose 'My settings'
3. At the bottom of the page you can click on 'Cancel account'
